Renovation of the Gali Gopuram of Shri Bhavannarayana Swamy Temple at Sarpavaram

      This centuries old temple with mythological history is located on the outskirts of Kakinada. The Gali Gopuram or the Raja Gopuram as it is known as, and the temple also were in a dilapidated condition. This Chapter was instrumental in getting the Gali Gopuram renovated with the financial assistance of Rs 5 lakhs by M/S Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, a private sector Corporate body. Thereafter, another local Company got the major repairs to the Temple done by attending tp the roof leaks and other flooring works. This Temple is declared as an ancient monument by the Archaeological Survey of India and has a large number of devotees during Magha Maas.
