About Chapters

INTACH IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION of volunteers and functions on the strength of its members who are affiliated to a Chapter. Chapters are Forums formed with about 25 Members. A Chapter has a Convener and Co-Convener appointed by the Central Office. The Chapter can adopt a flexible approach in its internal structuring as long it does not dilute its legal and financial accountability. It has an Executive Committee and constitutes sub committee’s to co-ordinate it’s working. A State Convener is also appointed, who is essentially one of the links between the INTACH Central Office and the Chapters in the State.
The Chapter Division coordinates and facilitates the work and the activities of all Chapters and acts as an interconnecting bridge.
